I had the privilege of spending this entire week at Kisii Level 5 Hospital. We have been able to see a wide variety of age groups and have received a warm welcome every day at the clinic as well as on the road on our way here. We have been thanked by school children (see pictures) for bringing invaluable care to their mothers and sisters. This is my third mission with CureCervicalCancer and my first time in Kisii. I hope to return soon to see the program expand in order to prevent any deaths due to this 100% preventable disease: cervical cancer.
I enjoy being part of the “See and Treat” program. It is a very rewarding experience for me to assist in bringing much needed medical care to remote areas of the world which would otherwise go without such services.
