Quang Ninh Nurses’ Perspective: Rhia RN, Elsa RN, and Doris RN

I first found out about CCC when a dear colleague and friend of mine, Doris Pesina RN, went to set up a clinic to serve the Massai people in Kenya. This is my second trip with CCC and is so far very memorable. From the moment we all met at the airport, the various CCC volunteers shined with positivity and readily came together to form a goal-oriented unit with a focus on achieving success in Vietnam. My heart was warmed by the healthcare workers in Vietnam, who showed us nothing but hospitality, enthusiasm, and professionalism. I am truly honored to have worked with them. The beautiful smiles of the women once we have uttered the word “Khỏe!” (healthy in Vietnamese) and the reassurance given after every cryotherapy treatment has had the greatest impact on me throughout this CCC experience!
