The first day of training at the Quang Ninh Reproductive Health Center was a grand success. Healthcare professionals from Quang Ninh , Cam Pha and Hoanh Bo gathered for an instructional lecture followed by practical education in the “See and Treat” method. The trainees were full of enthusiasm, attentiveness, and good questions. On just this first day as a team we saw over 90 women and treated 22 with cryotherapy for pre-cancerous cervical lesions. This was the most successful first day CCC has ever had on a mission thus far!
Today was the start of my upcoming adventure with CCC and I could not be more astonished and proud by what I was a part of. Seeing the impact our organization has on improving the lives of countless women was something I had only hoped for until I actually saw it come to fruition before my eyes today. I am truly inspired by the people I worked along side with and can’t wait to continue teaching health care professionals the “See and Treat” method for years to come.
