The Guatemala Projects, Coban Hospital and Chisec, are right around the corner and the CCC team is in full motion getting prepared. The Ministry of Health letter is in its last stage, all the supplies have been received and we are busy organizing and packing it all up.
Ground support with our partners, Asociación Compañero Para Cirugía, continues to grow and we expect large numbers of women in both Coban and Chisec. Pictured here is the Morris Hazan Clinic sign to be permanently hung in the Coban Hospital.
We are excited to be bringing an experienced team with us as well as new volunteers. CCC Founder Dr. Patricia Gordon is joined by veteran CCC mission members Jade Singer PA, and Director of Volunteers Judy Laner. CCC Board Member Ellen Boneparth PhD will bring her journalistic expertise and extensive knowledge of the country with us. We are delighted that Diane Chamberlin NP, new to CCC, will bring her 26 years of maternal health experience. Most exciting of all is the youth enthusiasm and skill set that will accompany this CCC project. The most dedicated coordinator CCC could imagine, Kim Borden, is joined by Cullen Hallinan and Jessie Margolis. All three are soon to be medical students!
